5. Comparing individual funds
Based on the funds that you might have in a portfolio, or have reviewed individually, or have identified by looking for Top Funds, you might want to carry out some specific fund comparisons.
The tools below let you do that – one in graphical, and one in tabular form.
In order to do this, you need to ensure that the funds you wish to compare have been added to your Basket

5.1 Interactive charting
Interactive charting allows you to track the performance of any fund you add against any other instrument or set of instruments – including other funds – you choose. If you’ve found a number of funds using the Performance League Tables which have performed well, for example, you can use this tool to see how they’ve performed over time in comparison with one another – which is very useful in showing volatility of returns in particular.
You can also use Interactive Charting to show how a fund you’ve chosen has performed against, for example, an relevant index, or against the performance of an existing fund within a portfolio which you intend to replace.

5.2 Fund comparison
With so much information relevant to each fund, it can be difficult to remember where one fund was more, or less, suitable to your needs than another.
Fund comparison allows you to take up to two funds at a time from your basket and place them into a single, easily comparable, view. This means you can line them up in terms of size, costs and performance (measured in different ways)
